The Education Department is proud to offer unique, hands on educational programs which give students the opportunity to expereince and interact with Australia’s native wildlife. Our education team is staffed by qualified professionals who capture the imagination of students and offer memorable learning experiences.
Our education services offer a vast array of programs targeted at different age groups, as well as the flexibility to tailor make programs to maximise the learning potential of students. All groups are also free to explore other wonders of the Sanctuary including the Tasmanian Devils, animal presentations and the Rainforest Aviary at no extra cost.
Day programs at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary include exclusive animal presentations by our qualified education staff. Your school will engage in a pat and chat session which features live animals including lizards, snakes, birds and mammals. Students also receive workbooks which target the relevant Queensland and New South Wales curriculum for the appropriate year levels.
