After a few years of bringing scout and guide groups into the wildlife sanctuary we have been able to offer a specific program to help cater for their needs. We understand that it is the aim of all groups to be able to gain badges as a part of their visit to the park. As each groups needs are different from the next we are happy to work to make sure that we are focussing on the areas that are your highest priority.

We understand that scouting and guiding groups can only really have access to the park over the weekend and have made special financial allowances for this. In addition there are activities that you can do prior to your visit to make sure that you are getting the most out of your visit.

Teachers:
1 FOC to every 8 paying students.
Admission for additional teachers is $19.50 per person.

Please complete our  Booking Form (393.3kb PDF) and fax back to (07) 5598 1764. For enquiries: phone (07) 5534 0846, or send us an email:  education@cws.org.au

The Green Challenge Adventure Parc is a high ropes adventure course that is located within the Wildlife Sanctuary, the only requirement for your students is that they can reach a height of 1.6m with their arms extended above their head and feet flat on the ground. While on the course students develop skills in balance, hand-eye coordination, teamwork, communication, listening and of course have fun.

The Green Challenge Adventure Parc is a fully supervised activity by trained staff including one of our education officers.
At the moment we have a special package involving school groups wishing to participate on the Green Challenge, it will be admission plus $15.00 entry onto the Green Challenge Adventure Parc.

If you wish to include this activity as part of your day at the Sanctuary, please read the following rules and conditions and ask each student’s parents to sign the accompanying form to bring in.
