Location & Transport

We have included an animated location map which should help you in making your way to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

We give you 3 options from which to select - departing from Brisbane Airport, from Gold Coast (Coolangatta) Airport or from Surfers Paradise.

Travelling by car

From the south:

Travel along the Pacific Highway onto the Gold Coast Highway at Coolangatta. From there, follow the highway to Currumbin and take a right turn at the Currumbin Hill lights into Tomewin Street.

From the north:

Follow the Gold Coast Highway to Currumbin. Follow the highway over the Currumbin Bridge and onto Currumbin Hill. At the bottom of the hill turn left at the lights into Tomewin Street.

From the M1 Motorway:

Follow the M1 Motorway to the traffic lights at Tugun where the Motorway joins the Gold Coast Highway. Turn left at the lights, follow the Gold Coast Hwy to the Currumbin Hill lights and turn right into Tomewin Street.

We have ample free parking immediately opposite our main entrance in Tomewin Street.

Travelling by bus

Surfside Buslines have a drop off & pick up zone, less than a minute walk from the entrance to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

The 700, 760 and 765 bus arrives and departs approximately every 20 minutes.

International visitors
